Before you leave for that dream vacation to the Bahama beaches or Jamaican paradises, you want to get a nice bronzed llok to your skin, just so you don’t look like such a tourist. There are many ways to go about this, some more healthy than others. Most people’s first idea would be to hit the nearest tanning salon-wrong answer! Tanning salons, as fast as they can be, are not only the most expensive route, but the most unhealthy. Tanning bed lights are one of the top reason for skin cancer, and they damage your skin quicker and worse than regular sun light from the beach. The best way to get that nice bronze look without hurting your wallet and skin, is sunless tanner. Now, I know what you’re probably thinking: won’t that leave looking like an oompa-loompa? The answer to that, is no, not if you get the right brand and type for your skin. Some very good brands I know of are, Neutrogena Sunless Tanner, and “Faux Tan” Lotion by Bare Escentuals. Both these brands have a variety of shades, and other attributes to go a long with them. On top of it all, they are way cheaper than tanning salon sessions.

So hurry in to your local food store or even drug store, and get your perfect lotion today! You’ll have beautiful, natural looking skin in no time!

It’s almost the middle of April! Then sun’s coming out, grass is getting greener, flowers are starting to bud.; it’s a great time of year. Now, you all know what that means! Time for fun day trips, picnics, and lots more outside activities!

Picnics are great ideas to get your family outside, or even a cute date idea for that special someone! They’re economically friendly and is a great way to enjoy that beautiful spring weather.

How to Save Your Money:

Don’t spend your money on pricey grinders from a restaurant, make your own! Not only is it cheaper to use what you have in your refridgerator, but it adds a more personal touch as well!

How to Find that Perfect Picnic Spot:

It’s easy! Use the Internet! If you just type in your location in your favorite search engine and browse for closest parks or recreation centers to you!

So, make some sandwiches, look up your favorite park and enjoy the day!

What to Pack When Going on a Trip

Doesn’t matter where you’re going, you’ll always need these basic items.

1. Map of wherever you’re going, or if you’re the high tech type- a GPS tracker.

2. Sunscreen ( UV Rays are more and more risky)

3. Comfortable Shoes and Clothes (Especially if you are planning on going on tours)

4. Snacks (Just in case, you wait too long in between meals)

5. Bottles of water (It is EXTREMELY important to stay hydrated)

6. Money (You’ll never know when you’re going to need it)

With all of these items, you’ll be all set to go!

Coney Island in New York has been around for many years, and it’s only a stones throw away from Manhattan! There are sandy beaches, theme parks, boardwalks, fun places to eat, sideshows, and even musuems! You could spend a whole day at Coney Island and still not see everything there is to see!
